CASE STUDY | PHASED WORKPLACE TRANSITION
CLEAR THE WORK AREA. RETURN THE FURNITURE. KEEP THE PHASES CONNECTED.
ASI coordinated repeated onsite furniture moves and reset activities around construction work at First American Title's Bend workplace.
Overview
The Bend assignment was a phased workplace transition, not a single truck move. ASI managed the defined furniture movement and return activities around the client's construction program.
Challenge
Furniture had to be moved out of selected work areas and returned around a phased office improvement program. Each visit needed a defined scope and a clear connection to the next trade's access.
ASI approach
ASI coordinated furniture crews for sequenced removal and return visits, connecting conference-room furniture and filing-cabinet movement to the construction work areas.
Results
- Documented furniture movement at one workplace.
- Removal and reset connected to construction access.
- Repeated visits organized as defined phase scopes.
Project scale and field dependencies
MAKE ROOM FOR THE WORK. CONNECT EACH FURNITURE MOVE.
Clearing a work area is one step in a phased workplace change. Tables, chairs and filing cabinets needed defined removal and return activities while the client's other providers worked through the office.
CLEAR SELECTED WORK AREAS
ASI arranged onsite furniture movement to create access for the construction work. The move scopes covered conference tables and chairs, then filing cabinets in later work areas, with defined crews and equipment.
CONNECT REMOVAL AND RETURN
Furniture removal and reset were paired activities around the client's improvement work. ASI coordinated repeat visits at the same Bend office, keeping furniture movement connected to the phase sequence.
The outcome
FURNITURE MOVES WITH A PURPOSE. A COORDINATED WORKPLACE TRANSITION.
ASI's defined furniture work supported a phased construction program at one workplace. Documented movement and return activities connected the furniture scope to the spaces being worked on.
FURNITURE MOVEMENT
Conference tables and chairs were moved within the office for the construction transition.
FILING-CABINET RESET
Later removal and return activities addressed filing cabinets in another work area.
CONSTRUCTION INTERFACE
The furniture scope connected to the client's phased construction access requirements.
DEFINED RESPONSIBILITY
ASI coordinated the furniture crews and equipment while the client's other providers performed their own work.
