The ASI Story

Built in San Diego. Scaled Nationwide and Internationally.

ASI was founded in San Diego, California, in 2011 to help clients execute workplace projects with greater coordination, accountability, and field support. What began as a focused workplace project partner has grown into a national and international project execution platform supporting construction, relocation, furniture, electrical, low voltage, decommissioning, logistics, vendor coordination, and facility services.

Today, ASI supports 75+ sites per month, completes more than 2,500 projects annually, works through a network of more than 3,500 trusted field partners, and has delivered work across all 50 U.S. states and 20 countries. Our story has always been built around one idea: clients need one accountable partner who can coordinate the moving parts between the plan and the field.

Founded in San Diego

ASI was founded in San Diego, California in 2011 with a clear purpose: to help clients move workplace projects from planning into field execution with greater reliability, coordination, and accountability.

From the beginning, ASI focused on the details that often determine whether a project succeeds or stalls: vendors, schedules, logistics, communication, access, field activity, documentation, and closeout.

Building the Foundation

In the years following its founding, ASI focused on building strong client relationships, developing reliable project processes, and supporting workplace projects that required more than a single vendor or trade.

This early period from 2012-2014 helped shape ASI’s core delivery model: one accountable partner coordinating the people, vendors, schedules, logistics, and field activity required to complete the work.

Expanding Workplace Capabilities

As client needs grew from 2015 to 2017, ASI expanded its capabilities across workplace project management, relocation support, furniture coordination, decommissioning, logistics, and facility services.

This period helped ASI support more of the project lifecycle, helping clients manage the transition from planning to execution across increasingly complex workplace environments.

Growing Beyond a Local Market

From 2018 to 2020, ASI continued to expand its field partner network and project delivery capabilities, allowing the company to support clients across more locations and markets.

As workplace projects became more complex and multi-site needs increased, ASI’s ability to coordinate vendors, trades, schedules, documentation, and field resources became a larger part of the company’s value.

Licensed Contractor Capabilities Added

In 2021, ASI obtained its contractor licenses, strengthening the company’s ability to support more complex workplace and facility projects with licensed field execution capabilities.

ASI’s licensed capabilities include General B, C10 Electrical, C7 Low Voltage, and C61/D34 Prefabricated Equipment.

This licensing expanded ASI’s ability to coordinate and execute construction, electrical, low voltage, prefabricated equipment, and specialty project scopes while maintaining one accountable project delivery model.

Strengthening National Execution

With licensed capabilities, a growing field partner network, and a stronger project management structure, ASI continued expanding its ability to support clients across the country throughout 2022 into 2023.

During this period, ASI’s work increasingly centered on multi-site project execution, office relocations, decommissioning, facility upgrades, furniture programs, electrical and low voltage support, and ongoing workplace project needs.

Built for What Workplace Projects Require Today

Modern workplace projects are rarely simple. They involve multiple vendors, trades, locations, schedules, building requirements, technology, furniture, logistics, documentation, and closeout expectations.

ASI brings those moving parts together through one accountable project delivery model.

From its San Diego roots to its national and international reach today, ASI has grown by helping clients move projects from plan to field execution.
